About this project
A 1970s home, later extended in the 1990s, set within an extraordinary landscape with sweeping views that were never fully realised within the original layout. The renovation focused on improving the existing home, lifting its functionality, refining the flow and strengthening the connection to the outdoors. A considered palette of materials and textures brings a layered, tactile quality throughout, with interiors now feeling calm, contemporary and closely connected to the surrounding landscape.
Working alongside interior designer Hilltop House, Demardi delivered a renovation that treats the landscape as part of the brief. Every decision, from the reconfigured upper-level layout to the selection of finishes, was made with the view and the setting in mind. The result is a home that finally lives up to the block it sits on.
